Olivia and Zorba go looking for her mother and end up at the Believerland telethon, where Olivia runs into Candy (King), the woman who got between her and David. Olivia confronts Candy who responds with her vamp song.

Dorothy wakes up in the hospital with amnesia after being mugged. Her nurse (Aphrodite in disguise) helps her to sneak out of the hospital and grab a cab to the Believerland park in New Jersey. Still in a hospital gown, she looks up at the gaudy neon Jesus statue at the entrance of the park and sings.
